Job summary

Arrowhead Winch seeks a Sr. Director of Purchasing to lead procurement strategy, drive supplier relationships, and optimize cost, quality, and delivery for manufacturing and distribution operations in Broken Arrow, OK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Seven+ years of progressive purchasing/supply chain experience, including leadership.
• Proven skills in contract negotiations, cost analysis, and supplier performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's purchasing strategy to support manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Direct the purchasing team and mentor staff to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable conditions.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to adjust sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Engineering, and Planning to align procurement with production schedules.
• Track KPIs such as cost savings, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover; drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards; oversee purchase orders and contract renewals.
