Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and month-end close experience; Oracle EBS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research financial issues and provide solutions.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to jump in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and year-end financial close process.
• Prepare and review accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with financial reporting and preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
• Analyze expense and account variances and provide explanations to management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with customer billing and related accounting activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with the external audit process.
