Arrowhead Winch in Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a Senior Director of Purchasing to lead procurement and supplier relationships for manufacturing and distribution operations. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong leadership and strategic sourcing capabilities.

The candidate will direct the purchasing team, negotiate favorable terms, manage budgets, and ensure safe, compliant procurement practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management, including leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements, production planning, and supplier lead times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage and mentor the purchasing team, setting performance goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers with due diligence.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to adjust sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Engineering, and Planning to align procurement with production and delivery commitments.
• Track KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
• Oversee purchase order processes, budget management, and vendor contract renewals.
• Resolve supplier disputes, quality issues, or delivery problems.
