Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions in San Jose, CA is seeking a Gene Therapy Account Specialist (GTAS) to engage audiologists and ENT specialists, driving diagnostic pathways and patient identification. You will craft account plans, build key relationships, and coordinate with matrix partners to expand market share in a rapidly evolving therapeutic area.

The role requires 7+ years in pharma/biotech sales, strong consultative selling, and ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales experience and/or extensive clinical experience in hearing loss space.
• Strong account management experience with designated key accounts and partners.
• Proven ability with limited distribution specialty and/or orphan drugs; gene therapy experience encouraged.
• Excellent interpersonal, selling, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and implement tactics within key designated accounts to establish pathways, identify patients, generate demand, and expand market share.
• Craft and maintain Account Profiles (KOLs, Target HCPs, etc.).
• Lead coordination of efforts with Regeneron account team and pull-through activity.
• Develop integrated Account Plans based on customer and market insights with cross-functional partners.
• Establish relationships with account healthcare professionals and coordinate executive engagements at designated accounts.
• Conduct local market analysis to identify opportunities supporting rare disease initiatives.
