Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant, AI Services to lead hands-on delivery of GenAI solutions across client engagements. You will design, implement, and productionize agentic AI workflows, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and domain experts to deliver real business value.

You will design robust Python services, manage deployment, and ensure observability, governance, and maintainability across complex AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science-related role, with focus on ML/DL.
• Strong Python coding skills with scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience with developing and training models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks and major ML platforms like Azure ML Studio, AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with leading model providers such as LLama, Claude, OpenAI.
• Solid understanding of transformer architectures and DL concepts.
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts including fine-tuning and RAG methods.
• Experience in ML lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, drift detection, and canary testing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions from design to production.
• Deploy, release, version, and rollback production AI workflows when needed.
• Contribute to architecture discussions with data-driven trade-offs.
• Produce estimates, surface risks, and track delivery status.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and UX to translate problems into production workflows.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and drive internal enablement.
