Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to lead AI/ Azure Platform Engineering engagements for enterprise clients. You will own end-to-end delivery—from assessment and target platform design to build, CI/CD, and hand-off to client teams.

You will mentor junior consultants, present to executives, and shape engagements with cross-functional teams while ensuring governance, security, and compliance across private networks and data boundaries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in engineering or technical consulting, including Azure infrastructure delivery.
• 5+ years delivering Azure infrastructure, landing zones, or migrations.
• 18 months delivering GenAI or agent systems to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements with delivery leadership: define scope, direction, and governance. Manage junior consultants and ensure on-time delivery.
• Design and deploy Azure landing zones aligned to CAF, including hub-spoke networking and policy‑as‑code guardrails.
• Design and deliver AI agent platform engineering and governance—Foundry Copilot Studio, pipelines, and model/AI safety considerations.
• Create design documents, runbooks, and enablement materials for post‑engagement client operations.
