Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to own Azure-based engineering, AI agent platforms, and governance for enterprise clients in the United States. You will design, implement, and hand off production-ready platforms, with responsibility for delivery leadership and client outcomes.

You will lead engagements across discovery, architecture, and migration planning, mentoring junior staff, and shaping engagements with account teams while ensuring robust security, compliance, and cost

Qualifications

• 8+ years in engineering or technical consulting.
• 5+ years delivering Azure infrastructure, landing zones, or migrations.
• At least 18 months delivering GenAI or agent systems to production.
• Experience leading junior consultants and delivering end-to-end engagements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business challenges and translate into technical Azure solutions.
• Lead junior and mid-level consultants on engagements and review their work.
• Define deliverables, scope workstreams, and estimate effort to keep delivery on plan.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to expand engagements.
• Present options with tradeoffs and a clear recommendation to client leadership.
