Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to own Azure platform engineering and AI agent platforms end-to-end at client sites. You will assess current state, design the target platform, build it, wire the delivery pipeline, and enable the client team to run autonomously.

This hands-on role combines delivery leadership with technical craft: writing infrastructure and agent code, shaping engagements, presenting options to executives, and mentoring junior consultants across Azure landings,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Azure infrastructure, landing zones, or migrations.
• Proven delivery leadership with small teams.
• Experience delivering GenAI or agent systems to production.
• Strong communication with executives and governance boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure discovery and assessment engagements; design landing zones and migration roadmaps.
• Plan and execute migrations to Azure with workload right-sizing.
• Own cost governance and FinOps practices; establish governance and policy guardrails.
• Design and deploy agent platforms and AI governance frameworks.
• Mentor junior consultants and lead delivery on engagements.
