Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a platform engineering specialist to build a firmwide AI Development Platform and drive adoption of AI capabilities across the enterprise. The role focuses on scalable, secure solutions using Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud resources, and Generative AI tooling.

Ideal candidates will have strong Python/API experience, DevOps disciplines, and excellent collaboration skills to work across global teams and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent job experience.
• Experience building software platforms with Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud IaC and REST services.
• Strong skills in Python and modern API-based development, with DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying AI solutions using Kubernetes/OpenShift, Python and APIs.
• Create Terraform modules and Cloud architecture for secure AI deployment at scale.
• Build reusable platform components to scale Generative AI using pre-trained and fine-tuned models.
• Leverage Kubernetes/OpenShift to develop containerised workloads and integrate vector stores for embeddings.
• Document architecture decisions and ensure reliable, scalable, and observable AI platforms with monitoring.
