Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Parametric team seeks a Principal Software Engineer, AI Platform to lead GenAI platform development and advanced AI solutions. You will guide engineering, collaborate with business users, and drive end-to-end GenAI projects across the lifecycle, focusing on scalable, compliant implementations.

You will apply deep ML/NLP knowledge, work with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, LangChain, and MLOps practices, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust GenAI capabilities within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of hands-on object-oriented design and development experience.
• 3+ years of Python software design and development.
• 3+ years of experience managing software development teams and providing guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership by managing a team of engineers and guiding their development.
• Lead GenAI projects across the development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with business users and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and maintain platform-level GenAI applications, leveraging prompt engineering and RAG pipelines.
