Job summary

BlackLine is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to lead migration and modernization across IAM, networking, and IaC. You will own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment standardization to accelerate reliable software delivery.

Bring 3+ years in IaC, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, monitoring, and scripting. You will collaborate with engineering to improve reliability, scalability, and data security while supporting DR and BC planning.

Qualifications

• IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible/AWS CloudFormation) to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure.
• CI/CD pipelines design, implementation, and maintenance (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and orchestration.
• Monitoring/logging setup using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of GCP migration and modernization initiatives, including IAM, networking, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment standardization.
• Implement and maintain observability, logging, and alerting across all services.
• Drive security hardening initiatives including key rotation, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support data privacy and compliance requirements by improving data handling, retention, and access controls.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and release velocity.
• Support migration and optimization of cloud services (compute, storage, messaging, databases).
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
