Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. seeks an AVP DevOps Engineer to design, build, and support cloud infrastructure, automation platforms, and developer tooling. You will partner with application teams, security, and SRE to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities include IaC development, CI/CD platform optimization, and improving platform reliability and observability. Strong focus on automation, security, and developer productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong programming in Python or C#, focused on production-quality automation.
• Deep hands-on Terraform, Terraform Cloud, modules, state management, and IaC lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
• Develop and operate CI/CD platforms and deployment automation, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Support compute platforms including VMs, containers, Kubernetes, managed services, and serverless.
