Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering / DevOps to lead enterprise cloud platforms. You will own the platform roadmap, drive GKE, IAM, networking, and CI/CD, and enforce standards with a strong ownership mindset.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate across teams, and help scale secure, reliable platform services while delivering on strategic priorities and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 4+ years leading teams (5-10 engineers).
• 3+ years with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC.
• 4+ years Agile/Scrum, incident management, cross-team coordination.
• 1+ years AI-driven ops or automation.
• 3+ years cloud networking and on-call rotation.
• 3+ years experience with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cloud Spanner, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive platform engineering roadmap and milestones.
• Deliver GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, networking, IAM, CI/CD).
• Enforce engineering standards, ADRs, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and applications teams; report risks.
