Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. seeks a Sr DevSec Engineer, Cloud Operations, to design, implement, and operate our global customer-facing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on security, reliability, and scale.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Services to deploy resilient SaaS/Hosted services, automate CI/CD and GitOps, monitor performance, and use AI/LLM tools to accelerate incident response, tooling, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of 24x7 production operations in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Strong focus on information security and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO-27001, NIST).
• Hands-on GCP infrastructure and networking experience including GKE, VPC, and Cloud DNS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, highly available SaaS and Hosted infrastructure on GCP.
• Design and manage scalable GCP network architecture, VPC, interconnects, firewall rules, and DNS.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident response using CI/CD and GitOps.
• Monitor performance with GCP observability tools and troubleshoot across the stack.
• Scale infrastructure to meet demand using autoscaling and cost optimization.
• Own end-to-end operations for customer-facing environments and uptime commitments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services to deliver new features in production.
• Work with developers to deploy via containerized, Kubernetes-native patterns.
• Build runbooks and improve documentation using AI/LLM tools.
