Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security professional to ensure a high level of service for residents, guests, and service providers. The role includes greeting and registering guests, maintaining safety, and logging daily records.

You will respond to emergencies and operate electronic security systems while reporting to the Security Supervisor. The position requires a Florida Security License "D", strong customer service, and 2–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License "D" required.
• Strong customer service background essential.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar role preferred.
• Proficient with information systems hardware/software; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Maintains daily logs, records, and forms with accuracy.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Shifts may change based on property needs.
• Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
