Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach, FL 33401 is seeking a full-time Security Associate to greet residents and guests, register them, and maintain safety across the property. You will monitor electronic security systems, log daily records, and respond to emergencies under the Security Supervisor's guidance.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, Florida Security License D, and 2–3 years of customer-service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Florida Security License “D” required.
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• Two to three years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Command of information system hardware/software is required.
• Multilingual abilities desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
• Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
