Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a full-time Security professional for a West Palm Beach, FL property. The role focuses on greeting residents and guests, maintaining safety, logging activities, and responding to emergencies with proficiency in electronic security systems.

You will monitor access, manage daily records, and support front desk functions while adhering to safety procedures and SOPs. The position requires flexibility for varied shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D”
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Command of information system hardware/software is required.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
• Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
