Job summary

Carvana is seeking an on-site Safe & Secure team member in Ohio to protect associates, customers, and vehicles. The role requires open availability across shifts and involves guarding entrances, monitoring cameras, and performing safety checks to keep the site operational in all weather conditions.

With a boots-on-the-ground approach, you will be at the gate, scan vehicles, conduct audits, and restock essentials.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and verify signals; monitor live cameras and investigate intrusion alerts.
• De-escalate and collaborate with partners during incidents to keep site safe.
• Walk the lot to scan vehicles, restock supplies, and support safety audits.
• Run gate procedures using SAS App and RFID tech and document vehicle movement.
