Job summary

Carvana's Safe & Secure team at our Portland site keeps the gates open and safe, rain or shine. This boots-on-the-ground role involves monitoring security systems, guiding associates and vendors, and executing safety audits while delivering exceptional service.

You will be trained in first aid and emergency protocols and collaborate with Inspection Center and Logistics teams to maintain peak site operations. Candidates with 1–2 years in customer service shine here.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Use the Unified Security Platform to monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate alerts.
• Run point at the gate using SAS App and RFID tech, enforcing ingress/egress procedures.
• Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Be trained in first aid, CPR, and AED and use it when needed.
