Job summary

Carvana in Concord, NC seeks a boots-on-the-ground Safe & Secure team member to protect our associates, customers and vehicles. You’ll patrol the gate, monitor cameras, perform safety audits and maintain daily operations to keep sites open and safe.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build strong working relationships quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage and investigate intrusion alerts.
• De-escalate tensions and partner with teams to maintain safety.
• Run gate operations using SAS App and RFID tech, enforce ingress/egress.
• Document vehicle movement through inspection gates and maintain logs.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid, CPR and AED training.
• Maintain safety protocols across weather conditions and shifts.
• Prepare detailed reports for leadership on operations.
• Communicate clearly with on-site staff and leadership.
