Qualifications

• Able to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedules medical appointments coordinating patients, providers, facilities and payers.
• Uses electronic medical record/scheduling software to schedule tests and procedures.
• Obtains patient demographics, insurance information and necessary documents for authorizations and referrals.
• Provides patients with information, post-test instructions, locations and directions.
• Communicates with patients, providers and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Manages scanned documents and orders, verifying required paperwork.
• Collects pre-payments and verifies insurance to prevent surprises.
• Handles inbound and outbound communications for all facilities in the network.
