Qualifications

• Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Prior computer experience, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient calls, providing general information.
• Greets patients, assists with forms and technology usage.
• Assesses patient needs without appointments and processes requests.
• Reviews daily schedules and manages wait lists to keep bookings full.
• Completes follow-ups and coordinates labs and external procedures.
• Receives calls and schedules or transfers as needed.
• Monitors faxes and messages to determine proper action.
• Pre-certifications/authorizations for external and stat procedures.
• Contacts patients for follow-up and sends letters for no-shows.
• Acts as liaison between primary care physicians and specialists.
• Monitors referral queues and tracks status.
