Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts is seeking a Gas Sales Operations Manager responsible for overseeing support for mid-account and residential gas customers, ensuring timely service installations, load estimates, and policy compliance. You will lead a team, set priorities, and ensure tasks are completed within budget.

The role requires five years in marketing or related management, a bachelor’s degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Requires a fundamental understanding of customer operations, support and administrative activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five (5) years in marketing, sales, sales support or general business management; gas experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises, coordinates and provides leadership to Gas Sales Representatives and other staff engaged with mid-account and residential customers.
Ensures company policies on pipe extensions, rate terms, load and revenue estimation are communicated and followed.
Participates in cross-functional teams to improve customer service, operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Works cross-functionally to improve dealers and residential gas sales customer service activities including new connections, DSM and value-added services.
Evaluates, develops and implements changes in methods and work practices; oversees implementation.
