Job summary

TC Energy is offering a Student Intern position to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. You will gain hands-on experience with gas compressors, field maintenance, troubleshooting, and procedures, working alongside experienced technicians on real projects across North America.

As an intern, you’ll learn safety protocols, participate in site visits and inspections, and contribute to meaningful work that supports the energy delivery network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical / trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while upholding Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, and Active Learning.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
• Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Learn and apply safety protocols for field work.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project activities under supervision.
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role.
