SEMCO is seeking a Gas Controller to monitor and manage the flow of natural gas across its pipeline system, ensuring safe and reliable service for Michigan communities. You will balance supply and storage, coordinate field responses, and maintain real-time system conditions.

The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. A rotating 12-hour swing-shift schedule and overtime are part of the duties.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in natural gas industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, control and maintain gas control systems per CRM and O&M manuals.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions following procedures.
• Coordinate field response and balance gas supply and storage daily.
• Document changes and ensure proper reporting per CRM requirements.
• Work a rotating 12-hour swing shift, including overtime and holidays.
