Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Pipeline Gas Controller to oversee safe, reliable product flow in ET pipeline systems. The role involves compressor/pump optimization, field coordination, and data reporting to management.

The position requires handling daily throughput, emergency response coordination, and extensive communication with various departments. Shift work includes day/night rotations, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; 2-4 year degree preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain pipeline pressures within design criteria.
• Coordinate changes with ET pipeline operations and plants.
• Serve as first contact in emergency response and notify management.
• Assist in maximizing pipeline throughput and troubleshooting control systems.
• Complete daily throughput reports and maintain emergency lists.
