Taleo in Reno, NV is seeking a Team Member in a busy hotel kitchen. You will safely prepare all food items, read daily forecasts and menus, and delegate production for your work area, using standard recipes and specifications.

You will handle requisitions, interact with guests for special requests, and collaborate with cooks to meet productivity and cost controls while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Must be at least 21 and able to work varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Safely prepare all food prep and food items in accordance with standard hotel recipes and specifications.
• Read, comprehend, and follow the daily forecasts, menus and recipes to produce and delegate the production of all food items for respective work area.
• Complete food order requisitions using a computer or pen and paper to procure necessary items.
• Interact with hotel guests to provide for special requests.
• Participate in activities of cooks and other team members involved in preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with productivity standards, cost controls and special needs.
• Audit food storeroom items for quality, consistency and rotation; control food cost and revenues; follow daily sanitation, hand washing and safety codes.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
