Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort seeks a hands-on kitchen team member to support Garde Manger and general production. You will prepare salads, dressings, cold displays, and assist with desserts, cakes, and fruit preparations while ensuring consistent quality and safety standards.

The role requires a flexible schedule, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to Safe Serve/TIPS requirements. You will work closely with the team to maintain cleanliness and rapid service during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the culinary industry.
• Must have ServSafe Certificate.
• Able to read tickets and organize food production in a timely manner.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must lift 50 lbs and work in hot/cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to daily meal plan.
• Attend daily team pre-shift meetings and follow SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards.
• Stock items and manage temperature control for all stations.
• Assist with desserts, salads, dressings, and deli items as needed.
