Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Property Damage Claims Adjuster, Garage, to adjudicate complex Garage Property Damage claims from multiple offices (Omaha, Albany, Richmond, Chicago, New York City). This is an on-site, in-office role reporting to a Denver-based manager.

The team collaborates to drive profitability and deliver excellent service. The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in commercial property claims, a bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience adjudicating commercial Property Damage claims.
• Bachelor’s degree required; designations may substitute for experience.
• Licensed Claims Examiner in applicable jurisdictions or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Experience with ImageRight, Guidewire, and ClaimsCenter preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate Garage Property Damage claims of high technical complexity with significant impact.
• Gather information, analyze, and investigate to resolve issues.
• Report trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce claims frequency and severity.
• Set reserves and manage diary for timely, favorable resolutions.
• Coordinate resources and negotiate cost-effective settlements.
