Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, Garage, to adjudicate complex commercial Garage Bodily Injury claims from offices in Omaha, Richmond, Albany, Chicago, or New York City. This 100% on-site role reports to a Denver-based manager and focuses on delivering superb client outcomes.

Preferred candidates have at least two years of Garage BI adjudication experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent insurance designations/experience), and strong negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience adjudicating first- and third-party commercial Garage Bodily Injury claims.
• Bachelor's degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Licensed Claims Examiner; must be licensed or able to obtain a license in each jurisdiction requiring a license within 120 days.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proactive, pragmatic approach to negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate Garage Bodily Injury claims of higher technical complexity with impact on departmental results.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report to senior management and underwriters on claim trends and developments.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce frequency and severity through data analysis.
