Job summary

GameStop in Bartonsville, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, utilizing our buy/sell/trade model to drive a strong sales culture and outstanding guest service.

You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, grow guest loyalty, ensure product visibility, manage opening/closing, scheduling and payroll, and oversee inventory and compliance training with emphasis on loss prevention and safety.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business/related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and promptly greet guests, respond to questions, promote promotions, and build sales.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in absence of Store Manager.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and benefits processing.
• Maintain store appearance, inventory, and merchandising per guidelines.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and processed daily.
• Support loss prevention, safety practices, and compliance with company policies.
