Job summary

GameStop in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will create a sales-driven environment, share product knowledge, and ensure excellent guest service.

You will supervise Sales Associates, help set service expectations, and uphold company policies while promoting loyalty programs. Experience in retail management and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, and promote loyalty programs.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of Store Manager.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising per company guidelines, ensuring products are easy to see and buy.
• Assist in payroll management, scheduling, and time-off approvals.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and store processes run smoothly.
