Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will develop a sales culture by sharing product knowledge and delivering outstanding guest service through professional conduct and passion for gaming.

You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager, ensure products are easy to see and buy, and maintain a clean, organized store while growing guest loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service; greet guests, answer questions, promote promotions, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop.
• Support store environment, visuals, promotions, and guest relationships to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS, provide receipts, and ensure top-notch service.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person or on the phone and escalate issues when needed.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
