GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New Jersey to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will drive sales by sharing product knowledge, ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment, and promoting guest loyalty programs.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing scheduling and payroll, and maintaining inventory control while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Retail management experience or strong guest service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support store operations and sales initiatives to drive guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases and returns using the POS system accurately.
• Respond to guest questions by phone or in person with courtesy and professionalism.
• Promote guest benefits and loyalty programs to increase repeat business.
• Supervise Sales Associates in the absence of the Store Manager and ensure policy compliance.
