Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic gaming devices at customer sites in the Reno, NV area. The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostic testing, and ensuring proper operation of EGMs and ETGs while adhering to gaming regulations.

Candidate must be able to read schematics, work with hand and power tools, and travel as needed. Strong problem-solving and customer-relations skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• One year experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
• Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative maintenance on electronic gaming machines, ETGs, and equipment.
• Ensure proper operations via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing.
• Navigate Management Terminal daily to verify EGM status.
• Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order.
• Complete accurate Incident Reports in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Complete required maintenance records in a clear and precise manner.
• Complete detailed daily/weekly tech logs.
• Adhere to Light & Wonder Field Service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Follow safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, electricity).
• Ensure tools and equipment are kept in safe, working condition.
• Stay current with Field Advisories and eLearning.
• Review customer issues with management and technical lead as they arise.
