About the Job

Hello!

First, I currently have a channel for livestreaming full playthroughs and I need an editor than can edit those sessions into full playthroughs. I record each session and upload a high quality 1080p version to Drive for you (I will always try to provide notes and timestamps however I can't promise it will be provided every single time and you will be expected to skim through the footage to make sure no mistakes are made like leaving a restroom break in the final video or leaving long chatting session in etc). You'll be expected to download those sessions, trim the fat (distractions, inventory management, grinding, etc), add a few subtle edits to big moments (cutscenes, bosses), and upload the combined, finished playthrough to my channel (you can upscale to 1440p on export if the file size is small enough for it). I can usually handle SEO and thumbnails but I'm willing to pay extra if you can do that and our vision/style aligns (it's not necessary). Each session should be 1-4 hours of raw footage and projects can be over 30 hours total. You must be able to export very large files - as much as 200+ gb. You will need to handle audio balancing between my mic and the game (I record multiple audio tracks for you).

Second, I plan to start a new channel later this year where I will record some of my gameplay for a gaming ASMR channel. I will record this content off-stream, upload to a folder in drive - same process basically. You'll be expected to take the footage, do minimal visual edits (mostly just cross-dissolve cuts), and you'll be curating the audio balance and checking for any spikes that need to be cut or fixed. These videos should be pretty straight-forward as I've done many ASMR edits myself. You must know how to remove white noise via audio edits. Usually 30 min - 2 hours of raw footage and only cut as needed. Same deal with thumbnails and seo - I can handle that myself but if I like your style and you want the extra pay I'll let you handle it.

This is a per-project arrangement becasue I live in New York and have a very busy personal life. There will be entire weeks where I don't have time to work.

Job composition: I plan for the live gaming to be about 75% of the material I give you. For instance, my ideal situation would be 3-4 stream sessions per week, you edit as we move through the game, and I'd like to have 1 ASMR video edited and posted per week. That is my production goal and it will adjust as needed.

If you edit as we go, we can discuss payment arrangements that you are comfortable with.

Ideal Candidate

1. You must have multiple years of editing gaming content and at least 1 year experience editing full-length playthroughs. You must provide proof of videos you have edited and provide at least 1 creator reference that I can contact.


2. You must have at least 1 year of experience with editing ASMR videos and be able to provide proof of videos you've edited. You must provide at least 1 creator reference that I can contact.

Job Requirements

You must have a powerful PC that can handle large exports and file sizes. You must have stable, fast internet to handle the uploads and downloads associated with these project files. I will always be transparent about my content schedule/plans and I ask for you to be transparent about your availability as well so that we can easily coordinate and adjust.
