Job description

About the Job

Minecraft Let's Play video editor.

Editing Minecraft Let's Play video content from raw footage to a 30 - 45 minute long video. There will normally be 2 videos per week to edit.

A turn around of less than a week per video is expected.

The finished video should be provided back as a Project File (Davinci or Premiere Pro) rather than a rendered video.

Replay mod timelapse creation and editing would be preferred but not essential.

A flat fee per video would be expected with a bonus for video performance over the first 30 days after upload.

Ideal Candidate

Someone familiar with editing long form content. Capable of understanding the humour and \"story\" of a video in order to effectively remove content from the raw footage that isn't relevant or additive to the overall video, without affecting the overall understanding of the video.

The ideal candidate would be from the UK making transferring footage and face to face meetings possible. This would greatly aid in any additional training required in order to match my existing content and style as well as developing any lacking skills to meet the requirements of the job.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in editing long form YouTube videos.

Experience and in-depth knowledge of Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve (Ideally Davinci Resolve)

Experience in loading and running Modded Minecraft Java Edition mod-packs

Experience in creating and editing replay mod timelapses would be preferred.
