Minya fda is seeking a long-term YouTube video editor for a kaiju-focused channel. You will turn provided voiceover, script, and research into engaging videos using footage, images, text, music, and effects.
Videos are typically 15–30 minutes; the ideal candidate has strong pacing for long-form content, can match visuals to narration, and edit with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Compensation is per completed video, with paid test tasks for alignment.
I’m looking for a long-term YouTube video editor for my channel, which focuses mainly on Godzilla/kaiju content, powerscaling, character analysis, versus debates, and video essay-style commentary.
Most videos are around 15–30 minutes long, usually about 20–25 minutes. I will provide the completed voiceover/audio, script, and any important research material. Your job will be to turn that into an engaging finished YouTube video using relevant movie footage, images, screenshots, text, music, sound effects, memes, zooms, transitions, and other visual elements.
A major part of my videos involves very specific feats, statements, and pieces of evidence. For example, if the narration discusses a specific scene from a Godzilla movie, I do not want random footage from that movie. I want the actual scene being discussed.
You are not expected to already know every Godzilla movie, feat, statement, or piece of lore. For anything highly specific, I will provide the necessary clip, screenshot, source, or note explaining what should be shown. For more general sections, I want you to use your own judgment and creativity.
This is intended to be ongoing work, not just one video.
Experience with Godzilla, MonsterVerse, kaiju media, powerscaling, anime, comics, gaming, or movie commentary is a major bonus, but not required.
Compensation is approximately $150 per completed video, depending on length and complexity. I am looking for someone I can work with consistently over time.
Before committing to a full video, I may ask selected applicants to complete a short paid 60–90 second editing test so I can see how well your style matches the channel.
