Hornblower Corp is seeking a Cook I to join our shipboard culinary team in the United States. The role focuses on friendly, efficient service, buffet maintenance, replenishment, and food delivery from galley to dining areas.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience and be prepared for a physically demanding environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as operations demand.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of kitchen/culinary experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests according to RESPECT service system.
• Maintain buffet and replenishment.
• Rotate food to ensure top quality and freshness.
• Read and follow ticketing system to deliver trays to proper location.
• Deliver hot and cold food from galley to dining cabin efficiently.
• Receive and organize hot line food orders; portion and garnish as needed.
• Assist in routine cleaning of galley and sanitation of surfaces.
• Maintain uniform and grooming per appearance standards.
