Job summary

Hornblower Group is seeking a Cook I to support buffet maintenance, galley-to-dining service and routine galley cleaning aboard our passenger vessel. The role emphasizes hospitality, food quality, and timeliness in a dynamic shipboard environment.

Required is at least 1 year of kitchen experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and major holidays. Candidates should be energetic and ready to follow directions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests as prescribed in our RESPECT service system.
• Responsible for buffet maintenance and replenishment.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Read and understand ticketing system to deliver trays of food to proper location.
• Deliver hot and cold food items to the dining cabin from the galley.
• Receive and organize hot line food orders; portion, arrange and garnish food for service.
• Assist in routine cleaning of galley and equipment; sanitize surfaces and mop floors.
• Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
