Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Manager of Relationship Events to lead the Coastal Savannah and Augusta Galas, driving revenue growth and volunteer engagement in support of the chapter’s strategic plan. This role oversees sponsor stewardship, donor cultivation, and community partnerships, coordinating volunteer leadership and event operations in Savannah, GA.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Relationship Events, the position requires proven fundraising, gala event experience, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Three years of proven experience in corporate fundraising and relationship building.
Three years of gala/special events experience with strong volunteer management.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the Chapter’s Gala and wrap around events.
Recruit, train, coach, and manage volunteers to meet revenue and engagement goals.
Build relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers, and corporate partners.
Oversee financial aspects of sponsor and donor fulfillment.
Cultivate Gala sponsors and donors to achieve development goals.
Maintain year‑round relationships with sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
Collaborate with planning committee for outreach activities.
Ensure Alzheimer’s Association standards are followed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in professional growth opportunities.
