Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Director, Relationship Events in Cincinnati, OH to lead the Gala and related events and to grow corporate development initiatives. This role reports to the VP of Development and requires strategic volunteer recruitment, donor stewardship, and robust sponsor engagement.

You will manage fundraising operations, build relationships with sponsors and community leaders, and travel as needed to support the chapter’s development goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven fundraising and volunteer management experience.
• 3–5 years of gala/special events experience with successful fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Chapter’s Gala and wrap-around events.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage volunteers to meet revenue and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community leaders.
• Manage all financial aspects of sponsor and donor fulfillment.
• Prospect, cultivate, and steward Gala sponsors and donors to achieve goals.
• Maintain year-round relationships with sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
• Coordinate outreach activities with the volunteer planning committee to promote the mission.
• Ensure Alzheimer's Association standards are followed.
• Pursue professional growth opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
