Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Director of Relationship Events to lead the Gala and related wrap-around events, drive volunteer recruitment, cultivate sponsors, and grow revenue in line with the chapter’s strategic plan.

This full-time position reports to the Vice President of Development and requires 3–5 years of corporate fundraising and gala experience, willingness to travel, and a proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of corporate fundraising and volunteer mobilization.
• 3–5 years of galas or special events experience with strong volunteer management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Gala and wrap-around events.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to meet revenue and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with sponsors, participants, and community leaders.
• Manage all sponsor and donor fulfillment finances.
• Prospect, cultivate and steward Gala sponsors and donors to achieve development goals.
• Travel within the assigned territory as needed.
