Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association in Wichita, KS is seeking a Manager, Relationship Events to lead the Memory Gala and related events. This role focuses on volunteer engagement, corporate development, and achieving revenue goals in line with the chapter's strategic plan.

You will recruit and coach volunteers, cultivate sponsors and donors, manage budgets and donor fulfillment, and collaborate with the Sr. Director, Development to expand fundraising initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in corporate fundraising and volunteer mobilization.
• 2–5 years in galas or special events with proven success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Memory Gala and wrap-around event planning.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage volunteers to meet revenue goals.
• Foster relationships with sponsors, donors, and corporate partners.
• Manage sponsor and donor fulfillment finances.
• Travel up to 60% within territory.
