Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association in Savannah, GA is seeking a Manager, Relationship Events to lead the Savannah and Augusta galas, driving revenue and volunteer engagement as outlined in the strategic plan. This full-time role reports to the Sr. Director, Relationship Events.

Key responsibilities include developing relationships with sponsors and volunteers, managing donor fulfillment, and expanding corporate partnerships while upholding the Association’s standards and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of proven experience in corporate fundraising and relationship building.
• Three years of experience in galas/special events with proven success in fundraising or related activities; strong volunteer management experience essential.
• Demonstrated ability to form and develop relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the Chapter’s Gala and wrap around event(s).
• High-level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management to meet revenue and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with key volunteers, participants, sponsors and community leaders as well as existing and new corporate partners.
• Manage all financial aspects of sponsor and donor fulfillment.
• Prospect, cultivate and steward Gala sponsors and donors to achieve development goals through volunteer networks.
• Maintain year-round relationships with key corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers to ensure involvement in all relevant chapter activities.
• Coordinate with the volunteer planning committee to organize outreach activities promoting the Alzheimer’s Association mission, including community presentations and corporate engagement opportunities.
• Ensure Alzheimer Association’s standards are followed.
• Other duties as assigned and opportunities for professional growth.
