Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association in San Antonio, Texas seeks a Manager, Relationship Events to lead the Memory Gala and related donor engagement efforts. This full-time role reports to the VP of Development and aims to meet revenue and volunteer targets through corporate partnerships and volunteer networks.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in fundraising and event management, strong relationship building, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of proven experience in corporate fundraising and relationship building, recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Three years of gala/special events experience with proven success in fundraising or related activities; strong volunteer management essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the Chapter’s Gala and wrap around event(s).
• High-level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management to meet revenue and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with key volunteers, participants, sponsors and community leaders; engage existing and new corporate partners.
• Manage all financial aspects of sponsor and donor fulfillment.
• Prospect, cultivate and steward Gala sponsors and donors to achieve development goals.
• Maintain year-round relationships with sponsors, donors and volunteers for involvement in chapter activities and recognition opportunities.
• Coordinate outreach activities with the volunteer planning committee to promote the Alzheimer's Association mission.
• Ensure Alzheimer Association’s standards are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
