CVS Pharmacy is seeking candidates for the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program, a development-focused path to prep you for a CVS Store Manager role. The program blends self-paced, collaborative training across 16 weeks, with both virtual and hands-on learning to grow you as a leader.

Key duties include communicating effectively, delivering strong customer care, executing merchandising strategies, managing inventory, and engaging with leaders to advance toward promotion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Engage with your leader in learning experiences to support your path to promotion.
• Support the store as a management team member and align with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in supporting CVS’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market.
