Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program. This development track prepares you for a CVS Store Manager role through a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training plan.

You will be supported by a District Leader, HR partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach, with both virtual and hands-on experiences to cultivate leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor is valued.

Responsibilities

• Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion.
• Support your store as management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market.
