Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop the next generation of CVS Store Managers. The program runs for 16 weeks with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences, guided by a district leader, HRBP, training store manager, and a coach.

Participants will develop leadership, customer service, merchandising, and inventory management skills while committing to CVS values and potential promotion based on performance and openings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations during the 16‑week SMIT program.
• Engage with leaders in learning experiences to progress toward promotion.
• Lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Be willing to transfer or be promoted to a Store Manager role as openings arise.
