Job summary

CVS Health in Crescent City, CA is offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program. This development role prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training, with both virtual and hands-on learning.

You will work with your District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager and Store Manager coach, gaining leadership, customer care, merchandising and inventory skills, with promotion opportunities within the market.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in customer service or retail.
• Retail environment familiarity is a plus.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the SMIT program and engage with your leader to support development toward promotion.
• Lead in the store as part of the management team and uphold CVS values and policies.
• Support merchandising strategies and execution to drive sales growth.
• Assist in inventory and asset management to maintain profitability.
